Sensitive skin reacts often to relatively mild provocations. Climatic and environmental influences make it easier for these reactions to appear. The skin‘s natural ability to bind moisture in its cells is damaged. The outer layers of the skin begin to dry out attacking the lipid layer. It then reacts in protest with symptoms that include redness, itching, burning, and areas of rawness.
